WE need to make a splash, this guy will change our squad. We will rue the day if we dont draft this kid.

JFB does not fit our offensive scheme. Scott Linehann's offense is based on multiple WR sets with varied route tree combinations. The offense is predicated on accurately delivering the football from the pocket.

This is not a read option or bootleg style of offense that Manzel would excel in. Manzel is not the type to just sit in the pocket and go through his route tree progressions. It would be like trying to fit a round peg in a square hole.

Now if you want to fire Garrett and clean house with new coordinators that will install a mobile QB offense, then Manzel is your guy. But right now, it makes no sense.

EDIT: That is why there are multiple reports out that we have Bortles rated higher. He is a classic pocket passer that would fit this offense to a T.

You guys are such sheep, lets draft a defensive player and trust Jerry Jones. U kidding me? We are mediocre and will continue to be. Only thing that can save us is JFF.

sounds like he is not good for a team that relies on he passing game. Remember Vick in Atlanta?

Yes once you've changed everything to suit his skill set and invested a 1st rd pick he holds all the cards and it would be dumb to try to invest a high pick then try to make a pocket passer outta him. He needs to go somewhere like Cleveland where they have nothing to lose and already have Kyle Shanahan who worked with RG.
