Hey, my wife makes me watch this terrible show every year, it's kind of like her football, so Emmitt better make it to the finale so I have a reason not to kill myself. If you are being put through the torture of this as well, make sure to vote for Emmitt so us Cowboys fans can laugh at him over the next couple of months. I'll post the number when they show it so the rest of you who are watching something better can also call in and vote if you want to.

Last year Jerry Rice looked like a total geek, stiff as a board. I'm happy to see Emmitt has rhythm. He'll be around for most of this contest...not much competition, and he can definitely dance...doesn't hurt that he's cool with confidence either.

Emmitt did a REALLY great job.. the man CAN dance!!

he was one of the only two contestants tonight that got a standing ovation.. and his went on the longest.. people loved him.. and I liked in his intro he said he is (is, not was) a Dallas Cowboy and didnt mention anything about the Cardinals at all.. he was also wearing #22 cufflinks..

Are these guys so desperate for attention after their NFL careers , that they have to stoop to this type of reality TV crap ? Jerry Rice has been on 2 shows, now Emmitt.


Who is next (NBA) MJ ? Bird ? Magic ? or maybe (NFL), Sanders (either), Montana, or Marino ?

Doing stupid commercials is one thing, but doing a reality show is just desperate.

not sure this would qualify as a reality show. it is a competition that's on tv with professionals and celebrities. I'm sure all participants are compensated for their participation. Clinton Portis and all his personalities? Now that's someone desperate for attention.

But they could experience the same thing by going to a professional dance teacher and competing with real dancers for a spot on a Broadway show.

This is about exposure and spotlight to me.
