Counting on a rookie to come in and play at a high level is really not very realistic. Maybe 8-10 rookies a year come in and play that way. ODDS ARE VERY MUCH AGAINST IT.

I haven't seen the responses yet, but Terry Glenn didn't sign anything. He was awarded a 5 million dollar bonus for remaining on the roster as part of an existing contract already signed and filed and ratified. He was not a Free Agent and would not have been unless we had released him to avoid paying him that bonus.
