But I think were drafting Pat White at 51. Gonna use him as a w.r, k.r, and to groom as third string QB. NOT saying I agree with the pick at all. When I work on mocks I set them up as who I THINK the Cowboys will draft, NOT who I WANT the Cowboys to draft. Big difference.

I like Pat White as a football player.. I wanted Slaton last year but... He's too short to be QB in the NFL, He didn't Play WR in college.. He didn't play special teams so he's not a PR or KR... So this makes him a project player... Just like Crayton, Stanback, or Randle-El.... You don't use a 2nd on a project.. At least good teams don't...

Well, it was the Steelers who originally drafted Randle-El, in the SECOND round of all places. And I would definately consider the Steelers a good football team so.......

I think if Dallas were to get White it would be late in the draft. If that were to happen I would not be opposed. I like the kid and think he could have a big impact in the NFL.

Why in the hell do we need another project at WR? We have Stanback. We don't need to waste picks on these unprojectable players; players without a position. And there is no way in Hades we would spend our first and the 51st pick on a player like that. There are athletes without a position every year and they are drafted low at best unless they have very elite numbers. Generally you can get them as UDFAs.

As for myself when I first started looking over the draft I was a fan of Brace at 51, then after a little reflection I was thinking Chung or Delmas at 51. As of now im undecided. Oh, BTW.....dont think it can happen?....Ummm, Quiincy Carter, Kavika Pittman, Shante Carver, Dwayne Goodrich, Tony Dixon.....Those names ring a bell maybe?....LOL

I don't think Dallas will take him with our 2nd pick, could we take him? yes but I don't think that will happen until day 2. Looking over the last few drafts Jerry has paid attention to a very good scouting department and I don't think that will change this year.
