SUDDEN. Its called sudden not many have it but when you see it. Aint nothning like it.

Not sure how you measure it maybe you add up a short shuttle with a forty and divide it by the wonderlic.

Crying out loud. If you cant envision this kid making the roster, then you have no imagination.

Wat you want. . . Like wat do you want
People just see 40 time. Look at the thread about Brice butler. Cowboyzone.com

He's a pretty special RB that is the ideal backup for Elliot. McFadden is the wildcard here but his health is always up in the air.

You going to honestly say you watched Morris run last year and say you saw "special"? Really? Alfred seems like a genuinely really good guy and he had a heck of a few year run in washington that most guys only dream of having....BUT RB's only have a short shelf life in the NFL and unfortunately I think Morris' run is about up. Not much of a receiving threat, blocking is nothing special, and doesn't play ST. Going to be an uphill battle for Morris to make our roster and I doubt the line will be very long for his services if we cut him.

He had a nice little highlight video, but if he's a Dunbar clone, I certainly hope they don't put him in on 3rd down. We don't need finesse on 3rd and short. That singlehandedly ruined some of our drives. We need a bulldozer that is constantly going forward and can get those couple of yards. In fact, if it's 3 and 2, just keep Zeke in the game.

I called this guy out about 4 days ago, to me he looks pretty dam impressive. Hey I love speed, but this guy plants and goes in another direction lightning fast. Sometimes quickness is a much better attribute. Hope this guy shows something in training cam.

WAT YOU WANT

Those cuts are Sweet and Nasty

When asked who he compares to:

Sproales, I dont know but Ill take White.

Cowboys had alot of interest all along brought him for a private workout March 28

I knew somebody would be posting about him soon. People love highlight reel players.

He is fun to watch. His cuts remind me of Emmitt. He will run right at a defender and then cut right in front of their face.

His combine and Pro Day numbers were terrible. He ran a 4.62 and 4.69 forty. He is almost 5-10 and 190 pounds. That's 14 pounds smaller than Dunbar's pre-draft weigh-in.

If he can do enough to make the team and be active, he could be the Kick Returner. Switzer will be the punt returner, but I could see them giving the Kick Returns to Thomas if he is active.

It helps his cause that he appears to be a good receiver.

thought mcfadden was ok.
morris looked bad but at least he has shown he can play in the nfl

btw, morris records show he runs the same 40 time as thomas...but weighing 222lb instead of 192lb

All of the measurable(s) were terrible for Thomas. Forty, 3-cone, SS, Vert.

It's really hard to believe the numbers when you watch him. Especially, the agility numbers. The video of him performing the 3-cone/SS looked like he was just jogging.

For the amount of times we took Zeke out of the game, we didn't give DMac the ball that much. Or maybe I was just sleeping and didn't see it. I don't think Morris got as many carries as he should have, and he seem to have fallen out of favor by the end of the year. I really don't understand his situation.
Morris is not a good blocker or receiver. He does not player special teams (They tried him on a couple of ST snaps, but I guess that didn't go well because they didn't go it again).

That makes him a less than ideal 2nd/3rd RB under normal situations; however, if Zeke got banged up, Morris would be decent playing base downs with McFadden doing all of the 3rd down stuff.

He's very quick and allusive. Sure would be nice to see him make those runs in a Cowboy uniform.

I'm pulling for Thomas. Go Cowboys!

DJax won't make the Browns roster, so he could be back.

Why does most act like jackson is better than Emmitt from the way he is hyped up on this forum.
He won't be back just as Thomas won't make the team, he may make the PS.
