When I saw his tape, I said he looks like his feet are moving fast, but he's not really going fast. With that much pitter-patter, you should be breaking long runs.
Be that as it may, hope he pans out. I was a little disappointed we didn't pick up a back who could spell Zeke (since we're trying to keep him fresh ) a little better than McFadden and Morris.
Maybe Thomas can be that back.

Looked like he scored on most of those highlights.

Two of his nonscores were long runs that he just missed scoring.

I think that he will be a 3rd down type back. I think that they let Morris go.
The Cowboys want their 3rd down back to be a good blocker. Most people don't realize it, but Dunbar was a very good blocker despite his size.

It would be easier to justify the kid as the 3rd RB if he was the Kick Returner AND if he could play on the coverage teams.

I was thinking this also but they can save a roster spot by having Switzer play the 3rd down RB role as well as a slot WR. That may allow them to keep Noah Brown.

Did lucky play on coverage teams? And McFadden is the third down blocker mostly. Knowing who to block is the most important thing anyway
