Downs very vocal at practice

The team has lacked true leadership for a long time. Maybe they finally found one. Heard two seasons ago he was the best player in college football. Maybe we get to see that in the next few months. Here is hoping.

This is the kind of football player that can change fortunes for this organization, this kid is a straight up winner. Dallas was lucky to draft this bright student of the game with a huge heart, that loves football and wants to be great.

I wonder how the vets are taking Downs. I’m an Engineer and when some Junior Engineer comes out of college and tries to run things at work. We appreciate the initiative but… we thinking first learn your job then after that you can change the world

i have to imagine it’s a bit different. playing cfb at a high level is more akin to if said jr engineer was cio at his college, not just studying

Not a bad idea, but I also want to encourage Jerry to sign and draft players like Downs lol. If I'm going to buy a jersey, I want to do so to tell Jerry where to put cap money.

This second year player was coached by Eberflus and it shows. Lining up incorrectly was their specialty.

The only person on defense on that list that was all pro caliber was lee. And he couldn't stay on the field. Being a leader as a fringe mid level player doesn't leaf to wins. If Downs is Jourdan Lewis it will be an L. He needs to be closer to emunwari in Seattle

Geez -- just look at how many backup QBs end up in coaching positions across the league.
