Doesnt have much burst. Limited to short yard hammer.

Yep and his vision isn't that great vision either. He gets a benefit of being behind good offensive lines. The LSU running back(Fournette) and OU's running back(Perine) are my two favorite college backs right now. Perine is probably gonna have a bit of a tough time adjusting to a new offense and basically new offensive line. But he'll be someone to look at as a pro in a couple years. Fournette will probably be a top 5-10 type pick.

The best RB's IMO are small-schoolers. They make their own yards instead of yards made for them.

Kind of like Bobby Carpenter getting all his tackles in College due to AJ Hawk.

Hello Zoners, What do you guys think about Derrick Henry (Alabama RB) being drafted by Dallas?

I'm scared of drafting an Alabama RB for some reason I wish we would have gotten Carlos Hyde

For the people saying Derrick Henry doesn't have speed & vision, I suggest you watch some of his highlights on youtube and then come back and tell me that a guy who's 6'3 245lbs doesn't have speed and vision.

This kid has the most rushing yards in high school history 11,000+ and currently in the Heisman/ Doak Walker discussion this season as a junior for Alabama. I can't predict the future but barring injury this kid has the skill set to do great things in the NFL and would probably be off the board for Dallas in next years draft.

Highlights don't really say that much. A lot of backs look good in HS and college and never do anything in the NFL. Look at a list of the top 10 rushers in college history and you have 2 hall of famers. LT and TD. Maybe Ricky Williams some day. The rest are really not even close.

Not sure Richardson would've been a bust if he could control his weight.

I dunno, even then his vision was suspect in the pros.
It would of been one thing if he made the right read but was too slow, but IIRC he made the wrong read and was too slow.

I rather have Elliot if we draft a RB high.

I like Elliot but im not impressed with him so far this year.

I feel like others will emerge as the season goes on.
