Draft Status After Early Games...

Yes, those last two drives were beyond stupid. Why play like that now? Why not in the previous 15 games?

Third string QB???

Sigh. I'll go ape **** if we trade up to the 5th or 6th pick to get someone like Peterson when a lost today could've easily landed us him or Prince.

So the scenario now is to trade up for peterson or trade down a tad for one of the OTs unless some player we really like slips a little.

What would that take? Our second?

No way. This D needs more than one CB. I would fix the DL and ILB. Faster ILB will cover up more underneath stuff and let CBs concentrate on deeper patterns.

Relax...

We'll trade down and have 20 picks in the 7th round

Chad Hall vs Terrence Newman

Looks like it.

However, if we trade up for Peterson that would satisfy Jerry's thirst for wheeling and dealing and making news on draft day.

You can say if we have pressure Kolb wouldn't have time to throw....goes both ways.

I take a DL over CB in most situations.

...would take Bennett and our 1st rounder to move up to take Peterson. But yeah, we coulda, shoulda, woulda lost this game. I love to win...but it did us NO good today, except clinching Red's coronation.

lol it would take more than that.

Trading up is now out of question for me.We have lot of options to trade down now and get a extra 3rd rd pick.

trading up is way too pricey. Plus Peterson won't be any Revis island. It's not worth it.

We came into the game with the #7 pick. As of right now, we're tied with Seattle, Tennessee, Washington, and Minnesota for the #8 pick. We did lose to Minny and Tenn, so we got the tie-breaker over them. So, we'll be picking between #8 - #10.

I don't get it. A simple loss would have sufficed. Then there are no trades and we get plenty of options. More draft picks, the higher chance we have of getting it right.

I can't be too excited about this win. This was really a scrimmage that cost not only higher picks in the 2st round but every rounds after that.

It's also forcing us to address one major area that has sucked for awhile, and held this offense back...The O line. The football gods are telling us to fix that problem THIS YEAR!!!

Too many holes to fill to consider trading up IMO, unless the price is much cheaper than normal.

.....but it shouldn't. Buffalo needs a tight end and they might be dumb enough to take him!:p:
