Odd story here.
I have heard or read others have dreams of picking players over the years and although I have some pretty crazy and vivid dreams..I don't think I have had any about the draft, although I could be just forgetting them.
However For the better part of 2016 I have had spells where I wake myself up talking. Have laughed some in the past and woke myself up or would wake myself up talking but it was thing that was pretty unusual.
However this year it has become something that it is not out of the ordinary at all. Sometimes it happens multiple nights a week. Don't know if it is where I am on a regular schedule of Zyrtec in the evenings now or if it is just another thing of getting older but needless to say I will way up talking to myself and between being half awake and half asleep will continue the conversation to the point I remember it and finally stop.
With that rambling out of the way.
Between blabbing about the draft on here so much lately, watching the mel/mcshay draft special and watching two NFL Matchup draft edition shows last night I guess it carried over into my dreams last night.
I woke up multiple times trying to tell someone
1. A couple of times to try and trade down with the titans.
2. Apparently in my mind the answer to the trade talks was no so I stopped asking.
3. 4-5 times I would up saying...In the first round at pick 4 the Cowboys pick RB Ezekiel Elliott from Ohio state. Of those 4-5 times, there was at least two times where I was telling the person (whoever I was talking to) to make sure and put the name, position, and school correctly on the card to turn it in.
Just found that funny...Now I hope it turns out to be true (well except I would like the trade down option to pan out).
