Giants DE Chris Canty (hamstring) was practicing Monday and reportedly looking good.

It's looking like the $42 million man will be part of the Giants' nasty defensive line rotation against the Commanders on Sunday. The platelet-rich plasma therapy Canty used is sure to catch on.

i understand what your saying homeoflegends, when canty played strictly RDE he generally didnt produce, but when the cowboys put him at DT in certain situations, like the giants are going to do, canty shined. Thats the part im worried about, and he knows our offensive linemen's strengths and weaknesses, you can bet he is foaming at the mouth to show up the cowboys.

Canty had 3 whole sacks last year playing in the nickel. I don't see how anyone can say that he "shined".

well thats not what canty said, he said that he and the giants were going to show up the cowboys and tear the cowboys up, especially on the defensive line, while showing teams how to beat the cowboys;

agreed speedkilz. At DT on 3rd downs he can be somewhat effective but as a 3 down DT i dont see him being able to get leverage consistently enough due to his height.

I think Albert in Washington is better than Chris. You see what Gurode did to Albert one on one? I think he will do the same with Chris (Gurode and Bigg). Canty barely made plays in practice against our guys when we had him.

Canty can rush the passer. The gaints have some Great Pass rushers in Tuck and Osi. So if Canty can provide that up the middle pass rush they will be scary.
