Kiss the pinky ring, Drew.
Lack of options at QB combined with the Joneses incessant selling of him to the fans and media.Dak’s football IQ is average at best. His pocket presence isn’t very good. His accuracy is questionable. For supposedly being a mobile/athletic guy he struggles to escape pressure and seems hesitant to run when he needs to. Some praise his leadership but I don’t see why as the team often seems uninspired and unprepared especially when competing against good opponents.
He isn’t going to become any better. He’s been in the league a while now. I just don’t understand why he was given such a ridiculous contract. Seems like a desperate move in hindsight.
In the end he’s our QB though so I hope he can get it together.

The way teams play him and the way he throws deep balls I don’t see how you win 3-4 playoff games with him. These defensive coordinators get paid millions to watch yo and figure you out. You’ve been figured outLack of options at QB combined with the Joneses incessant selling of him to the fans and media.
People will buy into that fools gold so quick it will make your head spin. This offseason's BS angle from him is he was rehabbing last offseason. Now he can work on improving his game. He's already said this.
People will buy it too. If we start the season off with a slate of NFC East games they'll be chanting MVP in October.
You say that, but you only remember the big games he played poorly in and completely dismiss the others.Bingo. It’s always the same thing in big games. Different set of characters and it’s always the same thing. Romo was just as bad in big games.
He played 40 years ago and cried on national TV to get into the HOF......is he right, probably....is he an attention hog, yeah..I wonder how many will say Pearson doesn't know what he's talking about.
exactly....the way he played last 8 games. talking himself up and showing fake confidence in beating undermanned teams. and then totally laying a big huge egg in playoffs and coming up small. he wore out all the good willhe had built and then he said its OK to attack the refs....that was quite childish. And yet, Pearson admits his confidence in Prescott isn't as strong as it once was.
"It's wavered some towards the end of the season," he said. "I was really high on (Prescott) ... when they first drafted him. I was excited about that because of what he did at Mississippi State. He brought that winning attitude there and I thought he could bring that here."

And why we can’t take this franchise serious anymore.Dak's contract like Zeke's simply wasn't worth it. And they'll pay in more ways than 1 because they can't get rid of either of them.
Trade Martin, Tron, Collins, Lamb and Jarwin.
Fill every offensive position with league minimum players.
Bring Dak, Zeke, and Cooper in for a meeting and explain to them that their 80 mil per year salaries have necessitated these moves and they are expected to earn their salaries.
You're right about the possible real bad year next year. It’s so weird. He fist bumps a teammate and says “let’s get it “ and now he considered this amazing leader and winner.
the guy is .500 this sucks as a fan he isn’t a star they kept trying to pretend like he’s a star.
this is gonna get awkward. He might have a real bad year next year. Like should he be benched kinda year. And what willl we hear
“we have the utmost confidence that dak is our guy”
and then they’ll fire all the coaches and talk about getting new better weapons.
Man like I saw joe burrow sliding around in the pocket and I was like that’s how it’s done. Kept his head up was ready to deliver. Two hands on the ball. He’s a natural. Dak isn’t a natural qb. He’s only a qb bc he’s the best at saying “let’s go “
As I have posted numerous times Dak has never demonstrated for a full season that he is an elite QB deserving of elite money. In fact, in 2019, if you all recall, he started hot then too, only to fold in the middle of the season. Once the Cowboys were eliminated from playoff contention, Dak had a big game against the WFT. This is Dak. It is his history except for 2016 when the Cowboys relied more heavily on Zeke and the running game.
And remember before Dak was re-signed by Jerry? We were talking about maybe $35 million. The rumor started Dak was asking for $40 million and then it was refuted. Dak was asking for $40 million. Jerry at first was holding out but then he blinked. After the 2021 season I would argue that even $35 million is too much for Dak.
But, we are stuck with him through 2024, and now we are talking about cutting other good players so we can afford to keep Dak and some of this team together. What is needed now is the acceptance that Dak is here to stay and they need to build the team around him that takes the pressure off him. That means getting an OC who does not abandon the run but instead relies on the running game.
In most cases a strong defense can help carry a team with an average QB and or key injuries.Derrick Henry was a mid 2nd round pick.
He has been out since week 9 but looks as though he is healthy at the perfect time for the Titans.
Titans secured the number 1 seed in the AFC without Henry for nearly half the season, and with Tannehill starting at QB.
Many here feel that the 49ers should be the blueprint, but I would suggest taking a close look at how the Titans accomplished what they have this season.
I’d argue that’s been the blue print all along . It was first exposed in our final few games his rookie season and magnified in 2017 when Elliott was suspended .You're right about the possible real bad year next year.
He never recovered after Denver put out the blue print of don't blitz, focus on the run, disguise a little, and make Dak think more. I mean it was like 2 1/2 months worth of him looking bad in against defenses that could afford to do this game plan.
Teams will most certainly be doing that next year. That will be every defense we face game plan.
You need a QB that can beat defenses when they sell out to stop the run.I’d argue that’s been the blue print all along . It was first exposed in our final hands his rookie season and magnified in 2017 when Elliott was suspended .
Once Elliott was hurt this year and our rushing offense diminished defenses were able , at least the ones capable , to shut our running game down which puts too much pressure on our QB to be effective .
The blue print has never wavered . Not all teams are able to execute the plan .
The Joneses. What is the common denominator?
