Q: Why doesnt someone tell TO to just play the game?

I think they have.

"He is a personality and people care what he has to say.
He just answers the questions that are asked of him. Most of the time he is fine. Hopefully he will be ready to go this week. Just catch that football"

Sorry for the double post.

Thanks a lot.

I dont think anyone else could have figured it out.

We are all greatly appreciative of your knowledge around here.

I dont know what we would do without guys like you.

We would probaby all run around and bump into one another.

Can you define sarcasm for me while you are at it?

I can always count on Mr. Pearson to bring levity to the table. He's right on the money. TO talks no more than someone like Chad Johnson. If Ocho Cinco came out and made joking remarks people would simply laugh it off. Heck, it's Chad. You know... The guy that had every opposing CB on a list last year. Since it's TO it gets treated differently. I think TO has been just fine and his season will start in 27 hours.

I would like to add that Chad looks up to TO and used him as an example of the type of player he would like to be.

Difference is Ocho hasnt destroyed two teams locker rooms, and thrown two of his quarterbacks under the bus. Big difference there.

If you really want to get down to it...

All TO has really done is "cry about getting the ball" in both situations the team was either losing and the season was gone or they were losing the SB because the QB couldnt hack it.

Calling out organization, teams, players for not doing their part. I dont blame him.

He got on the Cowboys for Drew and I am glad.

True, and I dont think he will.

But remember, he was great his first year in Philly. He didnt turn into Mr. Hyde untill the next year. He is definately playing worse than he was in Philly with all those drops he's had.

Perhaps we could move him around, and use him more laterally than vertically, maybe then he can turn into SOMEWHAT of the gamebreaker he used to be.

I have been saying that for a long time now... about moving him laterally.

I think we all see we should be doing that and wondering WHY we havent.

Philly's doing much better without McFlabb. Had you noticed that?

If we get the ball in the hands of our playmakers (TG/TO) Seattle will be in for a very long day.

I don't want to see any lameo sideline fly route to TO. Send TG long and let him so what he does well. Send TO across the middle all night long. Slant slant slant til Seattle vomits all over themselves trying to cover it.

Philly is also running the ball more, and have a much more balanced offense. Had you noticed that?
