Drew Rosenhaus on T.O.: 'He's not going anywhere'

Agent Drew Rosenhaus definitely isn't sweating the speculation about the Cowboys cutting his most famous client. He completely dismissed the possibility that T.O. has cashed his final check from Jerry Jones.

"It's not going to happen," Rosenhaus said on WQAM Radio in Miami. "The reason why they got rid of Pacman is because Pacman has terrible off-the-field problems, and the guy just simply can't play anymore. He's just not that good.

"Terrell's never had off-the-field problems, and he's been one of the greatest players ever. And they just gave him a monster contract. I mean, they just gave him a huge extension before the season. He's not going anywhere."

Rosenhaus might be right about T.O. returning to Valley Ranch. But T.O. and Pacman have more in common than Rosenhaus wants to admit, although you don't have to worry about T.O. getting arrested.

Like Pacman, T.O.'s performance might not justify the distractions he creates anymore. That's what the Cowboys front office needs to determine.

Yeah I read that on DMN a few mins ago. Might be more wishful thinking on DR's behalf, as he knows there's no way TO gets a break the bank deal again anywhere else.

The impression around the league if Owens gets cut will be because of him being a problem more than declining skills, because almost nobody eats almost 10 mil for someone who is declining a little. Even if he isnt anywhere close to last yrs level, he is still a quality WR. If this is the case, it will be hard for Owens to find work again for anything other than an incentive laden deal for maybe one yr.

I don't know how much TO skills have diminished I do know in man cover TO will kill you and teams still have enough respect for his talent to play a man over the top against him.

I hope what Drew said is true.

What the Cowboys front office need to worry about is Romo. I'm sorry but his production has gotten worse. He did nothing to help the team get in the playoffs. Get your mind right, Tony.

LOL. You don't have any say in the matter, Drew.
Maybe if he'd quoted anonymous sources people would believe him.

No it isn't.

People knew for months that Owens was going to be cut before it actually happened. There was talk that the Cowboys were already tampering with him before he was released.

More stupidity reigning.

TO and PACMAN have NOTHING in common. Pacman doesn't speak up and TO has never had one run in with the law. Irrelevent, they are on in the same.

I never really cared for or against Owens, but these correlations and comparisons are devoid of any logic. Before its over TO will have killed someone by having someone look at him.

I would like to see TO play with a better quarterback and OL. But there's no doubt that age will play a factor in the near future.

I'd probably cut TO if the money weren't a huge factor, but it is and that's the reality of what Jerry did when he gave him 13 million up front last March. He is still productive, so now we just have to hope he doesn't rock the boat.

LOL. He's a bigger mouth than T.O. is so he's def going to be the last one to find out about it when it happens.

A difference in $600,000 isn't financially possible?

Unfortunatly, T.O. isn't playing with better OL and QB (I hope they improve though). As far as T.O.'s age I think he will last just as long as Jerry Rice.
