For all those whining that Drew will collapse in the 2nd half, I have compiled some statistics.

Five times in Drews career he has started with at least 5 wins, and only twice did he have more losses in the second half than the first half (and that was in cold weather stadiums NE and Buf).

Drew by the half, year by year
---------------------------------
Year G 1st / 2nd
---------------------------------
1993: 13 1-4 / 4-4 (4-0 finish)
1994: 16 3-5 / 7-1
1995: 15 2-4 / 4-4
1996: 16 5-3 / 6-2 (0-2 start) 6
1997: 16 5-3 / 5-3
1998: 14 5-3 / 4-3 finish
1999: 16 6-2 / 2-6
2000: 16 2-6 / 3-5
2001: 2 0-2 / ----
2002: 16 5-3 / 3-5 (both Pats games in 2nd half)
2003: 16 4-4 / 2-6 (worst days of Drew's career)
2004: 16 3-5 / 6-2 (6-0 streak in 2nd half)
2005: 8 5-3 / ???
---------------------------------------
46-47 (.494) / 46-41 (.528)

Total: 92-88 (.511)

So, as you can see, Drew has 6 fewer losses in the 2nd half than in the first half with the same number of wins (7% better), quelling any of the rumors that he is known for 2nd half collapses.

Could you compile his passing stats in the same breakdown?

I hope you're right. I'd be happy with 5-3 or 6-2 in the second half. Should be good enough for a Wild Card at the least.

Well, the odds suggest he'll go 4.2 wins and 3.8 losses, so it's up to the team to round up to 5 and 3.

5-3 will most likely get a wildcard berth...6-2 could very well win the division. I also think it likely (or possible anyway) that both wildcard teams will come out of the NFC East.

They could be misleading. He has played his entire career on cold weather teams in cold weather stadiums against divisions with cold weather teams in cold weather stadiums. Chances are, his stats won't be better in the bad weather. Have you ever tried to throw a long pass in Buffalo in December? Not always easy.
