You can say that about every position. You can find a qb in the 4th round. You are competitive in this league because of playmakers. Doesn't matter what position they play. You guys keep trying to look st what other teams are doing to contend. What works for one team doesn't work for another. If a guy is a premier talent his position shouldn't matter.

I think there will be more value available when we pick at other positions

IF and huge IF we're moving up for anybody it better be Fitzpatrick or Derwin James. We can find a 2 down DT later in the draft.

Sure you can find two down DTs later in the draft, but you can't find 3 down 340 pound DTs like Vea.

Much rather trade up for a player on the trenches.

Drafting DTs later in the draft is the reason it has been a weakness on the defense for a while now.

They paid for it vs the Broncos, Rams and Packers especially last season.
