DT Perrion Winfrey returns to practice

Jerry's thought process: Remember, all cheap/undrafted/late draft picks, could become a J. Williams, Romo, Ratliff, or Miles Austin. I'm a genius like that.
Jerry was once a wildcatter drilling 9 dry wells and then hitting pay dirt on the 10th. The cheap/undrafted/late picks are simply his current day wildcat wells.

I think he's like that with everything. For instance, he loves these injured players and so many haven't worked out. But a guy like Williams sometimes will. To him that validates his strategy.

The problem, of course, is that one well that hits pays for 10 or 20 or more that don't. It doesn't work like that with signing or drafting football players.

Right. Wildcatting will payoff eventually, you just have to have the capital to get through to that Spindletop moment. But it tain’t no way to build a championship team.
