But with Marinelli he has been at his best. He's been bounced around in 3-4 schemes the last few years . With Marinelli he had 6 sacks

Makes sense -- in a 3-4, his size is somewhat limited for that scheme, whereas he's much better suited to function in a 4-3.

Another one I'm excited about. He really slid in under the radar in early free agency while some of us were crowing about their disgust around us not signing a huge name in early FA. I'll gladly take Paea, our draft, our debuting guys from last year's draft (Tapper, J-Train) and potentially another FA before the season begins. We're in great shape.

He's been stuck in poor scheme fits since Chicago transitioned to a 3-4, and then signing with the skins who run a similar system.

He's no savior, but as a 43 DT who can play both spots I'm pretty comfortable saying he should be a fine replacement for Terrell McClain. I think he can bring some juice from the 3 spot that's kind of being overlooked, he's got disruptive ability.

Paea is a very good addition to our DLine rotation. Dude is country strong.

He's better than he showed in his two stints in a 34 scheme.

He's not going to be a star or probably not even a difference maker... but he'll be a productive member of the DT rotation who does whatever is asked of him.

He's a solid, cheap pickup.

Hopefully he can be a long term cheap option. If he has a good year, I think he will want to keep playing for Marinelli
