The 4thQ anyway.....

How about a replay overturn of a potential Witten 1st down from an angle behind Witten. I thought it had to be conclusive?

Then the fumble
Then Gramatica whiffs
Then Babineaux grabs both of Romos feet, if it was just one or Romo puts the ball out its a 1st or score.

Next play they let Alexander get a 1st. With about 1:20 and 3 timeouts they could have gotten the ball back w/ 1 minute at midfield.

These things havent evened out yet. Were due.

I agree. We are due. Sometimes I wonder if we're paying now for all the decades of success we have had before. It's a shame it was before my time or I was too young to remember.

Anyway, the Witten call is what upsets me the most from that game. That overturn was ridiculous. As well as the Terry Glenn Not-Really-a-Catch but a Fumble call.

Terry Glen’s fumble was brutal. I still can’t believe the Cowboys lost that game. And how about seeing the ******* Hamlin crappin the Seattle secondary.

first of all, I don't buy into conspiracy theories, but didn't that *** whopping you guys gave us last year before a national audience count as pennance? You really kicked us when we were down. That was walts last game. He tried to gut it out but just didn't have it. Credit ware for taking advantage of that fact. Then you put matt out for the year. All we did was tackle your qb after he fumbled a ball. You belitteled a first ballot HOFer in walter and put a hawks ROH player in hass on the IR. All in front of a national audience. That said, there certainly is a repeat performance potential coming on sunday. We just have to see which cowboys team shows up and which hawks teams shows up. Both have been wildly inconsistent.

Pretty cool avatar Hawksfan81. We've been erratic to a point. We seem to be righting the ship as of late. We shall see. Lots of football yet to be played. Can't wait for the game.

I think I'm in the minority for not being upset with that Witten call reversal.

I remember it being pretty obvious that he didn't get the 1st, even though the angle wasn't completely parallel. It was "conclusive" enough based on the angle they did have.

Time cures all. I laugh a little about that game and that day, though I was upset at the outcome of the game. I would have felt better if the Cowboys would have just lost in a blowout.

That game resulted in my *permanent* banning from Cowboyszone.

We all could plainly see he did not have the first down.

all the luck in the world wouldnt have mattered that day if not for Parcells and Sparano devising such a horrendous game plan. They had scrubs like Pete Hunter running around in the secondary, we had 2 1000 yd WR's and Jason Witten, and hardly attempted any throws beyond 5-10 yds all night. It was painfully stupid. We threw for a paltry 189 yds. Owens and Glenn had a combined 6 catches for 67 yds.

That loss stung, no offense to Seattle but (I know this is a tired excuse) the better team lost.....I get tired of saying that with this team.

BINGO!!...

That game shouldn't even of come down to a botched field goal. Dallas should of rolled them.

Hell, look what the Bears led by Grossman, GROSSMAN did to those VERY same DB's the week after. LOL. Well, maybe they got one DB back, but, it was still the same scrubs that Dallas faced the week before. That loss is purely on the coaches and that was the game that I surely wished Parsmells burned in hell.

The playoff loss to Seattle was disappointing ... it was the right time for that developing Cowboys team to have a little postseason success.

The playoff loss to the Giants was much worse, however.

I would prefer that this team resort to a "lucky win" against the Eagles in Philly. At home and fully healthy against an injured Seahawks team, they had better come out and win straight up!

I think the Seahawks paid for this with the horrific officiating in Super Bowl XL

XL was the 2005 season. This game was in the 2006 playoffs, a year after XL.

On the other hand, maybe the refs were making up for the atrocious calls during XL that went against the Seahawks.

I think the horrendous reffing in that Super Bowl had more to do with the Seahawks' opponent, unfortunately.

I know, I was implying that they were due a game in their favor.
