IMO, he's the toughest player on the team.

Watch him when he gets the ball and hits the hole, there is ZERO fear about getting hit. Not a millisecond of hesitation. He's not overly athletic but he makes up for it with his fearlessness and decisiveness.

Harris is the biggest 5-10 I've seen, if that make any sense. Harris 5-10, 207 was next to Randle 6-0, 198 and Harris looks bigger than Randle.

He has definitely taken Special Teams to another level. I don't remember many kick/punt returners that were also top coverage guys.

You ever watch the way Seattle uses Percy Harvin. I think that Dewayne has the ability to do some of the things that Harvin can do.

Maybe, but Harvin is one of quickest/fastest players in the league (on the field). He ran a 4.39 forty but seems even faster than some other guys that ran similar forties (Murray).

They did have him motion into the backfield last week and take a hand-off that went for a good gain.

The Cowboys have a lot of offensive options.

When are we going to see the half back option ala Robert Newhouse? Harris was recruited as a QB at ECU I believe.

He was a QB for some of HS, but recruited as an athlete with plans for him to play WR/RB. ECU always has QBs, but they like turning football players into WRs.

In any case, I bet for sure you are right...that they will have him throw the ball. They already set it up with an early season run play. At some point he will throw it.
During Training camp, I heard that the two strongest arms there belonged to Dez and Dwayne.

#55 was the one I noticed he has a mean/nasty streak in him. He seemed pretty tough to me out there, I decided today I dont want to be the one his angers directed at.

Like how he's being involved more on offense fake reverses and all that, we gotta find a way too keep him I believe he's on the last year of his contract, might have 2 left.

Harris is a running back playing wide receiver. Very strong build in his lower body, and a very low center of gravity. I agree on him being tough - he is just a very productive player whose contributions are very unsung.

He's a modern day Patrick Crayton.

I do love Harris. Had a good catch today, but a stupid penalty wiped it out.

I remember saying when we drafted him - - and some said all he could do is the bubble screen

In fact he was in my mock

4 Dwayne Harris, WR/KR, East Carolina 6-0 #205 Good hands, doesn't drop a lot of balls... Reliable player, comes up big on third downs and at the end of games... Good route runner, likes to work the middle of the field, does most of his work within 10 yards of the line of scrimmage... Solid burst off the line of scrimmage, can get separation in man coverage... Cuts well, very elusive in the open field... Hard runner, tough guy to bring down when he gets going, gets a lot of yards after the catch
