Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, and Udonis Haslem all opt out

Hit the wire a few hours ago.

Expect to see the Heat re-sign all four players (James, Bosh, Haslem, Wade) for less plus potentially pursuing Marcin Gortat (please, no...my Wizards!) and Chandler Parsons. A dark horse candidate for another big could be Pau Gasol.

Shabazz Napier is already an incredible upgrade compared to Mario Chalmers.

The Miami Heat era is just beginning. Haters, step right up.

I think you need another backtrack clause in this thread. All those players won't sign for less.

I think if they get the right pieces, guys that can make an open three, defend without switching, athleticism & youth (spurs kryptonite), they have a shot.
Spurs play beautiful basketball, but they are not invincible. Dallas and OKC both pushed em, Dallas with precision, OKC with athleticism.... And remember the Heat has Riles and LBJ (both brilliant minds), and they did beat the Spurs a year ago (barely!).....

Spurs are the favorite, but I don't give anyone a title before summer league starts.....

Wade aint going nowhere.... legacy.... just like the steelers won't let Polamalu & Big Ben go.... wade will be the Vice Pres of that organization one day. Without him there would be no championships... he won one, and recruited the talent for the others....... Also as bad as Bosh's game has drifted to the outside, he's still one of the best pick and roll defenders in the league... He wouldn't be that easy to replace.. (but he is probably a bit overpaid)....

I don't see any team offering the 20 mil they were guaranteed (Bosh and Wade), so worst case scenario, since Miami has their Bird rights, they still get all 3 back.
