What is sad is that the Eagles didn't honor the request. He was a season ticket holder for 30 years and left this earth with nothing in their trophy case to show for it. It would seem like the least the team could do for such a committed fan.

Would anybody be surprised to see Jerry send some players over to honor a request like that, even if it was a parting shot as his franchise? I, for one, wouldn't be surprised at all. After all, you know how much Jerry loves monopolizing headlines...that story would probably yield him millions in the long run. But, then again, that's why Jerry's in the Hall of Fame...he always see's the bigger picture, even in the face of insult.
