Eagles trying to trade for Donte Stallworth?

According to Anthony Gargano on 610 WIP theres word coming out of Eagleville that the Eagles are trying to work a deal with the Saints for Donte Stallworth. I think that would be Awesome! I like Stallworth alot and I think he would fit in nicely here. Lets hope there is some truth to this rumor.

I'm not too worried about the Eagles landing Stallworth . . . he's injury prone like Bryant Westbrook . . .

It's Brian, though Bryant was injury prone also. Come to think of it so was Michael, all those Westbrooks seem to have glass jaws.

The Saints are at a place in their existence where they need all the offensive weapons they can get - they need to put butts in the seats and play exciting football. Stallworth is going to stay.

What's with the Eagles and their fascination with mediocre WRs?
Why that team didn't just trade for Javon Walker in the off season is beyond me. In fact, I kind of have a hard time understanding why we didn't look more seriously at Walker as an option instead of TO.

The Eagles had a deal on the table for Javon Walker which he accepted. The problem was Green Bay wouldn't bite and didn't want him in the conference unless they received a #1 pick.
