Everyone from Vegas down to the football fan is currently placing down the scores that they believe will ultimately be the "final score" to the Monday Night game tonight. One thing is for certain, someone will win; someone will lose.
Whoever has the most to lose, can use that as an asset. Is it Dallas? Will a loss break the Cowboys back? Or, can they bounce back after a loss? Is it Philly? How bad can 7-2 be? Or, will it reveal a widespread weakness that will be exploited By other opponents?
Who's hungrier? Dallas has had the ultimate taste of SB victory; but what about the agony of defeat? Philly has already had the bitter taste of agony; and not really tasted the sweetness of a SB victory.
Most grudges are created by the fan base; except for certain instances, I don't know whether the Players have the same level of "grudge" as does fans.
But this game must be won by either team -- convincingly! Why, primarily because it's nationally televised; every team will be watching for weaknesses, how to exploit the offenses/defenses. If that Team is Dallas, they need to dominate in the beginning and through to the half; to send out the message that they still have playoff potential and are not pushovers.
If that team if Philly they will run the score up to send out a message that anyone can have a bad day on the grid iron -- they're back with a viciousness!
Countdown 2 hours and 35 minutes, 34 minutes, 33 ...
