If we can't beat a bad Eagles team, there's no place for us in the playoffs anyway.

Who says they are bad. They lost to San Diego, Kansas City and Denver......ummm..

They have a very good offense and they have good pressure players on defense, plus they are at home this week.

Even though romo's only loss at the linc ever is the 08 game it's going to take everything we have Sunday to beat them.

I would say they are in better shape than we are as a roster right now.

Is it just a forum requirement to have a thread every week after a win saying its a lock were going to lose the next one?

The amount of praise the Eagles are getting on this board is mindboggling. You would think we are getting ready to play the Broncos again. The Eagles have lost twice at home and been beaten by 32 points in their other loss. Their wins have come against a combined record of 1-15.

They are the same team as us without an injured defense.

I don't get where the cockiness is coming from? They have a good front seven just like Washington. There secondary is poor but they played well last week.

I don't think the people posting in this thread have actually watched the eagles and are looking at stat sheets.
They are going to give our offensive and defensive lines all kinds of problems.

Their wins are ny, Washington and Tampa. Our wins are ny, Washington and st.louis.

The thing we have going for us Is romo and the passing game but if we are playing from behind we are in big big trouble, they can bring pressure.

We are in so much trouble, our D-line is completely decimated and we have Monte kiffen going up against Chip Kelly. This is the lock of the year, we lose this game.

Wow, “ lock of the year”, that´s your inner “Cowboys are a mediocre team and will win 1 lose 1” mentality and I hear you but it´s far from a lock, actually I´d see it as a coin flip.

LOL they don't have a good front seven and neither does Washington. Their secondary played against Mike Glennon and the winless Bucs.

I've watched the Eagles and they aren't a team that is going to run away from the competition and blow you out. They have a lot of holes that can be exposed.

I get a kick out of posts like this that worry about how we are going to keep up. The Eagles need to worry about how they are going to keep up with us.

I don't think this game will be all that close honestly. I think we beat them around the same score we did Wash. 31 to 17 or something. I have watched them play a couple of games this year and they are not a good team. They have a stub RD and 1 Stud WR but no QB to speak of. We will win this game going away.

What? They don't have a good front seven. Their defense is bad top to bottom. The Cowboys have the better QB no question. The Cowboys have the better WR corp no question. The only thing the Eagles have is Shady McCoy...shut him down and they're done. The Eagles don't scare me and them adding a gimmick coach won't change that. Sorry.

It isn't cockiness...just truth.

Can you really blame the OP though? What have we seen under the Garrett regime that would suggest we could string together back to back wins this early in the season?

I am optimistic but I do fear the Eagles. Probably has more to do with my friend being a die hard Eagles fan who feels it necessary to tag me on every damn post on FB. He still talks about the 34-7 win back in 2011. I'm like "Ugh...we swept you last year." I can only imagine what will happen if they win this Sunday.

I will take a loss the following week to Detroit if it means winning this Sunday.

This should be a high scoring game by both teams. Neither team has a good defense. Odds makers have the over/under at 56 1/2 points. Don't sleep on Foles.. that guy is calm and collected and we won't be putting much pressure on him anyway. On top of that, we have to respect the run considering they have the top RB in the NFL right now. I see this being like a 35-28 game.

Yeah, I don't feel good about this game either. I would have felt a lot better if we had Murray but now I can see us being very one dimensional against them with no running game. I know their defense sucks but so does ours. The only thing we have going for us is they have played bad at home lately. They have lost their last 9 games straight at home... that is good news for us. A silver lining if you will.

Well, this is interesting. I'm told that I am a Romo hater on this board. Yet, I'm also reading that they are in better shape then we are.

What am I missing? They are without there starting QB and we have our Franchise QB in the lineup. I don't get it. What am I missing here?

Don't sleep on Foles..

Based on what? Him being 2-0 vs tampa and 0-5 vs. Everyone else?

Much happier to see Foles than Vick. Agree with the rest of your post though.
I think that the D can handle Jackson but Shady is a problem. I think that Williams has made enough noise to get the coverage on Bryant a little softer... That could be very, very good.
