You actually believe a lesser QB could have the same success Brady is having right now with parts he has on offense right now? Are you going to tell me Romo would be 5-1 with that team?

No because he has a INTERCEPTION PROBLEM

I've been through this before with FANS crediting Brady's defenses for his SB wins. Those NE teams would have won nothing without Brady and that franchise wouldn't be where it is without him. You need to get it that the QB is the most critical component to winning championships. Brady is the QB of an offense that is lacking at the skill positions but he's still finding ways to win.

What has Brady won since his kicker went to Indy and won one for Peyton? Brady isnt all that w/o his kicker to kick long FG's to win SB's.

What has Brady won since they got caught cheating?

Brady choked twice against E-Lie in 2 "BIG" games he should have won.

This past Sunday "Mr Clutch Brady" threw a pick that should have cost his team the game but the Saints gift wrapped more opportunities for him. Not only does it take other team mates on one's own team to win, but often it takes the other team to help as well. Or sometimes it just takes pure luck as we saw with "Clutch E-Lie" with the Tyree helmet grab catch.

o_O Do some people just piss and moan in every positive thread here without actually reading? He compared them in regards to their ability to move and put themselves in positions make plays. Beyond that, he was just commenting on how good Romo is. Good grief, this forum is becoming unbearable...

^^THIS!!!!

So when Herman Moore set the NFL record for receptions in a season he wasnt any good?

The kicker wasnt any good?

The OL wasnt any good?

Thats just for starters, but a team good enough to get to an NFC Championship has more than a bunch of trash. Sanders had some pretty decent OL's as well.

Emmitt had "IT" and made the guys around him better. Barry didnt have an effect on his team mates that made them better, or elevated their level of play, like Emmitt. Barry had great stats and individual achievements, but was not a guy that brought the team together in a positive way. He was aloof amongst other things.

Moore set that record in 95 when Detroit figured out they weren't going to win a championship with Sanders carrying the team every season. The Lions were too one dimensional causing defenses to key on Sanders so they had to open up their passing game. Sanders had -1 yard in the playoffs vs GB in 94 which prompted Detroit to get Moore heavily involved in the offense the following season resulting in his reception record. Although Moore was producing big numbers from 94 to 97 the Lions only made the playoffs twice as a wildcard during those years and didn't win a playoff game. As for the Lions OL it was nothing special Sanders made that OL look better than it was.

Sanders didn't like the spotlight but his spectacular play inspired the Lions and their fans which is why Detroit became contenders in the early 90's. It wasn't just Emmitt that elevated the play of the Cowboys it was Irvin who their emotional leader and Aikman who was true leader. So the Lions had Sanders, Moore and a good kicker plus Chris Spielman was a good player which left a lot of trash on their roster.

I've said for years now that they are two similar QBs in the pocket. Both do most of their damage on throws between the numbers on the field

You're proving what I just posted that Cowboy FANS spend a lot of their time tearing apart the games of QB's who've won multiple SB's while giving all the credit to their teammates. You're one of the worst offenders you trash every QB who's won multiple SB's. There isn't one QB in the league who's currently having success who's game you haven't attempted to tear down....hilarious!

Brady is a beast at QB. If he was on this Cowboys team, playing the same schedule as Romo has, this team would be 6-0. The same can be said about Eli, if he were on this Cowboys team he would be 6-0.

It's the ring, bro...they have rings, Romo does not.

Yeah well of course Brady is the much better player. I'm just saying in terms of how they operate, they are similar QBs who are at their best attacking defenses down the middle. Compare to a Peyton, Eli, Brees, etc. who are better at making those downfield throws down the sideline.

OK...I was just trying to give the Romo haters some love. They can talk about how good Brady and Eli are, but won't take into account the rest of the team.

Look at the two time SB winner, two time MVP, Eli Manning! Why is his team 0-6?

To you its hilarious. To those who have no agenda here and actually understand some basic concepts about football they realize whast going on when you spin, always trying to hold Romo to a different standard than all other QB's. Its a team game and while the QB gets a lot of credit or criticism, its still what his team does. He is 1 of 11 guys on the field at a time. The other 10 make him or break him - a concept you fail to grasp.

Why is Mr Clutch E-Lie leading the league in INT's?

He has a bad team around him. Of course, that does not mean much to some. Maybe Coughlin needs to change helmets so the ball could stick better? I don't know. Ask the experts.

Once upon a time, Romo was great. Those days are gone(unless we play a bad broncos defense and they foolishly decide to play us man up w/ no pressure on the QB)

His expiration date has past

Not even Romo haters can deny how good he is. The argument that "Romo suc@&" is now only excusable for occasional football watchers who are still at the infantcy stage of football knowledge. The guy has a unbelievably high ceiling when he is on his game, which in turn makes the Cowboys extremly deadly. Get the running game going and the D contibriuting and will start making opposing coaches have nightmares

Im sure the experts will chime in. The Lord certainly knows we have plenty here.

Tony Romo is on the perfect team. Cowboy fans either love him or hate him.

The Dallas Cowboys are a team that you either love or hate. Romo fits right in.

The cheesesteaks will probably taste good as hell up in Philly...Maybe Romo will pay the price for the food?

This upcoming game is a win or go home game. If the Cowboys lose this game, they are done!

I don't think they are done. I think the Cowboys are just getting started.
