Eagles Fan Sues Eagles

That’s how it is off the message :flagwave:

I was hoping you’d catch the big cajones reference lol
Sorry but I'm going to describe the types of boaters on Lake Lewisville (If you're not from here it's the primary lake within the Dallas metro area).

I can see from your posts that you do NOT fit into the sterotype so I'm not referring to you in the Power Boat section.

This is intended to be humorous so nobody should get offended

Fisherman.
The serious ones usually speed to the weeds and stay there. Recognized by 200 HP + motors.

The mid and lower tier ones tend to be stubborn and get in the way (next to the dam, non-weeds coves, etc.).

Cabin Cruiser
They have enough money they don't have to be flashy. More likey to be annoyed than to annoy someome.

Jet Ski
The most annoying people on the lake. It should be legal to murder them.

Entry level watercraft owner. Often clueless.

Owner with money. Lets anybody and everybody drive them.

General Purpose I/O or Clamp-On
Could be anybody. Some sane some complete idiots.

Often doing power turns while pulling tubers. Chops up the water far more than Wakeboard boats.

Often do mega power-turns to go back to pickup fallen skier.

Might try pulling skiers anywhere including in the middle of the lake or in the primary paths were speed boaters travel.

Often a Dad with Kids that's had a few beers.

Might have purchased a boat despite rarely if ever having been in one. See Dads/Kids.

Wakeboard
If owner, generally respectful of boating ediquite because they would like other people to also have boating ediquite. Generally stays in the coves where only low/mid tier fishermen are annoyed.

If their Dad is the owner might be a tad annoying but still in the coves or party cove.

Often more expensive (Many at 100K these days) than many flashy power boats.

Power Boats

Generally purchased to show people they made some money. No boating ediquite. No concept that Lake Lewisville is really too small, especially on the weekends.

Might never have owned a boat but now have a good enough job to get a big loan.

Often from the group Dallas women refer to as 30-thousand aires (i.e. Guys with regular jobs that go into big debt to pretend to be millionaires).

If they progress to making real money then they either get a cabin cruiser or go to the Ocean.

Party Johnnie
A legit cool type. Would only have a Cabin Cruiser or Wakeboard boat.

Has enough money to buy almost any boat on Lake Lewisville but just has a really nice but not over the top Wakeboard boat and/or Cabin Cruiser. It will have very specific functionality (Best Wake best audio, specific layout, etc.).

If in a Wakeboard boat he probably just came to Lake Lewisville for the party. Serious Wakeboarding would likely be done on the river in a secluded area.

Probably has a better sound system than anybody at party cove. Flashy boat owners will try to out "audio" him but will fail. Eventually they will ask permission to play their music for awhile. He will usually turn his classic rock, hip-hop, etc. off for awhile to allow somebody to play their country music.

Has a crew and at least 1 is a designated driver.

He might be anywhere from 35 to 55. Nobody really knows. He will be in good physical condition (Often better than younger guys). He will not be married.

Can walk across the boats tied together at party cove, step onto a boat with beautiful women and at least one of them ends up back on his boat. This happens while dudes from that boat yell "But we've got more money. Look at our Gold chains and we even wore a Rolex (probably fake) to the lake".

He attempts to be cordial to all others; however, when back at the Restaurant/Marina will occasionally be challenged often by big uglies. At that point he occasionally goes off Connor McGregor style. His crew will laugh and then re-tell the story many times.

Back home he sometimes lets Professional Wakeboards stay at his house when they're in town. He is probably staying at some chick's place anyway because only a few chicks come back to the house (A method to avoid the crazy ones knowing where he lives).

This guy is basically the hot-chick whisperer but is well loved because he makes fun for his crew and other boaters the top priority.

Generally this is pretty much everywhere. I graduated from Coppell HS back in the 90’s I moved to Dallas from SoCal when I was 15 and moved back home after I turned 18. I use to frequent Grapevine, North Lake, Lake Lewisville and lake Texoma mostly. So I’m pretty familiar with the lakes up there. As a matter of fact I was chatting with someone I do business with out in Dallas and was talking about sneaky Pete’s! She’s all you’re showing your age lol.

But the place I frequent now and before I moved to Dallas in the 90’s is very superficial and is a big part of the performance boating community as that’s where we do a lot of the filming for video and poker runs and shootouts. But the “little Richard” guys are bad out there.

Oh and I’ve been boating 30 years grew up around drag boats. I’ve owned 5 plus boats over that span, but after I got divorced I decided to buy the boat I longed for. So the day I signed my divorce papers I went and picked it up

It seems like Texoma would be good for you; although weekends still get too busy there also.
