Eagles fire OC Kevin Patullo

They keep whining about poor Hurts needing to learn a new offense and terminology AGAIN!

Wasn’t Patulo the pass game coordinator and associate head coach with the Eagles before Kellen Moore arrived? And wasn’t he also in those same positions during Moore’s tenure there as OC? So how much was there to learn? Did he suddenly get promoted and pull out an entirely new playbook he made up over the summer? With new terminology? Ridiculous!

Clearly, he wasn’t a good play-caller on Sundays. But they didn’t change the entire offense from the SB year when promoting the pass game coordinator who had been there for a few years. So many excuses to try and prop up the Eagles and Hurts.

I remember last year, after Kellen Moore left the Eagles, their PR department tried to push this guy onto Eagles fans. This came right after the year before, when they had a season much like the one this year—with an inexperienced and unprepared OC who had no NFL experience trying to run an NFL offense.


It was kind of funny, but I saw this coming a mile away. That's the arrogance of the decision-makers.

The eagles won the division and are every bit as concerned about next season as the rest of the division. I would not be surprised if they fire their head coach. It’s unusual to have as many very qualified head coaches available as right now. It might be too much to resist.

Sirianni isn’t getting fired. They already scapegoated the OC.

I just don’t get your stance you said it’d possible no team in the division will get better but it’s also possible Eagles get worse.

I do. I mean I felt that way this year I thought they would get worse. Now that doesn’t mean they can’t win but this team is just weird. Sirianni get them back to winning. Maybe Philly media is getting to me but they’ve been posting some disturbing things and it all shockingly revolves around Hurts. You would think it was AJ….

They got worse this season and won the division. If we’re being honest, the division is not that good.
 
50 percent of the NFC East has now missed Kellen Moore at some point.

Equal parts funny, sad, and true.

I agree but no one knew that Jayden would get hurt. I thought Giants would be better. I dee scenarios where every team in the division can get better except Philly. Depends on the offseason,

I think if done right Cowboys and Giants can improve drastically.
