Well, I sat through the first preseason game with some friends from work. Since I live among the enemy, here is my take on what I saw:

-MIddle of their O-line is not yet set. Brooks didn't play. Kelce gets pushed around by bigger guys in the middle. I wish Lane Johnson was our right tackle. Peters can still hold his own; The Pack's d-line put pressure up the middle but the tackles held off everyone.

-Wentz played one series, 4-4, 56 yards, 1 TD. He avoided quite a few rushes up the middle, slid to get behind Johnson a few times and made plays. On the 2 pt conversion he threw a ball at about 200 mph at Agalor, who was ten yards from him. He has talent, a big arm, and is mobile. He needs to learn that thing called touch before he kills one of his receivers.

-Pumphery fumbled a ball and muffed a punt (both recovered by the Eagles). But when he gets some space he can flash. At 5'9", 176, not sure how much time he'll see the field.

-Who is Mack Hollins???? Is he a camp wonder or legit? Since they traded Matthews I guess they think he's legit.

-Surprise, Jeffries didn't play. Hurt again.

-First string D-line smothered the Packers O-line. Probably a top-five live at least. It also has good depth. It is clearly the strength of the defense and may give their DB's help with their rush. Speaking of DB's...

-Eagles need help at the corner--yes, they got some with the Matthews trade. Jayden Mills looks to have potential. No one else is scary. Nickel packages will have many Eagle fans praying for a sack.

-The middle of the field just behind the LB's could be a feasting spot against that defense. Besides Hicks, who is very good, no linebacker really stood out.

-Rookie Derrick Barnett had two sacks and a few hurries. He is quick off the ball, and you can tell the time he is spending with Peters is paying off. I know a few posters here wanted him. So did I.

-The Eagles usually have one of the top special teams every year, but they looked average last night. They gave up a punt return for a TD, very un-Eagle like. Probably just trying different ST combos. The back-up punter will probably be cut. He did not look good at all. Their ST coach is one of the best. He will probably fix it.

Only philly.com would have these kind of Headlines. Ridiculous & hilarious wrapped up onto one fancy headline. Both Wentz & D shined so much.....THEY LOST.
Eagles' Carson Wentz, first-team defense shine in preseason loss to Packers

Matt McGloin played for 3.75 quarters. Wentz looked very good in his limited snap as did the first team defense...where is the inaccuracy?

So as Sophomores, Hollins had 144 less yards but also 26 less catches. Hollins has more yards as a Junior but still, 24 less catches. Clearly Switzer had the better Senior year because Hollins was hurt for most of the year (which is really the only reason he fell to where he did).

You'll have to ask the writer of the article. As for me, I don't waste time watching a team I despise. But I'm in a good mood and I'll answer your question. "Where is the inaccuracy"? Last season featured a 5 game losing skid & all 9 losses coming in the last 12 games. Stay tuned, his/their "inaccuracy" will get even better.
