Man read today Wentz doesn't want to go to Chicago which has removed any and all leverage Philly had in this.

They basically will have to accept whatever Indy offers which sounds like a 2nd and trash.

If that's the case we'd have to take the two 1st round picks for Dak. Don't draft his replacement (unless 'our guy' is available), build a defense and strengthen the back-up O-Line.

It's a hard decision based on the reality that whatever we do we (with this defense) we arent doing anything for the next two/three years.

Maybe tank in 2021 (Washington have our number and the division), get another high first round pick.
Maybe tank in 2022 also!

And trade everyone with any value and not sign anyone but veteran minimum contracts on one year deals

We can do a full rebuild and hope to have a winning record in 2026!

If he continues being greedy, he'll be nothing but a backup! Touche'

No he won't because the Eagles have to trade him before the roster bonus comes due.
He has crazy leverage.

QBs are spoiled and entitled but also running things.

Only idiots like certain posters on this forum think he’s worth that.

Only QBs worth more than 2 1sts with no extra fluff are

Mahomes
Watson
Dak
Russel Wilson
Rodgers

Everyone else is either too old, expandable, or unproven
We would never get a first for Dak. There's no quarterback in the NFC East that would warrant that much.

There are reports saying Philly realizes they may have to eat the roster bonus in order to move him for any real value.

"Idiot posters" at least know no one is giving 2 first round pics for Dak.
Nobody would give 2 first round picks for any QB that isn't under contract. Not many QBs that could draw that much even if under contract.

If Dak were under contract he would easily be able to draw a 1st round pick. A team wouldn't give up a pick that could go for Trevor Lawence, or maybe even the next 1-2 draft prospects, but there are teams that would give up 1st round picks for Dak - again, if he were committed for multiple years

Because Bradford had a contract and wasn’t demanding $40M/year. And Bradford could pass a physical. Dak can’t run, cut, and throw right now.
Sam Bradford had been hurt his whole damn career even in college lol.....that didn't stop anyone. You severely underestimate the lack of quarterback play in the NFL....hell we know Jerry does.

There is a difference between being hurt and being damaged.

And Sam Bradford was proven to be damaged the minute he got hurt in college...but that didn't stop people from not only investing a high pick in him but doing it again and again lol.

no one is as stupid as sean mcvay.
everyone else values their draft picks.
It wouldnt surprise me at all if the Rams end up with a ring this year.
McVay is all in with Stafford, watch what he does with that loaded offense and D.
Thats the blue print that wins now.

Agree. Stafford will prove what Tannehill has done but to an even bigger extent, as in reach a Superbowl now that he isn't being held back and knee capped on a bad team.

Indeed, I include Tannehill in that conversation and evaluation as well.. but Stafford is finally where he belongs now.
The Rams are going to be a tough team to deal with.
Environment is just as important as talent.
Its the zipcode to success these days.

Completely agree.

They have a winning culture there. Guys want to win. We all saw the tears from Aaron Donald after the Rams lost to the Packers in the NFC Championship game. They want to win the Superbowl. No messing around.
