Eagles have shown no interest in Wentz?

If you heard the Eagles press conference after they made the trade, they all but said they're taking a QB. Actually, they might've said it. No way they take Zeke.

There are scads of misinformation being bandied about these days and especially now.

It's better to sit back and wait until the draft begins without jumping to false conclusions.

Deion interviewed both Goff and Wentz together and pressed hard on the fact they both had the same agent and had to know which is goin #1.......Wentz couldnt keep a straight face.....

I think the NFL pleaded with the Rams and Sheagles both to keep things under wraps to save a tad of suspense for the draft.....Theres a whole mess of NFL "fans" who only watch the first pick or two of the draft, if #1 and #2 are already known, you lose those viewers.....

^^^^^^^^^^This.

Even if the Eagles brain farted and took someone other than the remaining QB...SD would be fielding calls for that 3rd pick and come away with a haul.

I ve been callin Wentz to the Rams all along. With this revelation plus Jerry flying out to see Goff after the trade was made with the titans makes it clear that Goff is going to Philly, who ponied up all those picks about 2 days after Jerry made the trip to Cal.

NFL has asked not to reveal teams intentions for the drama

and this is also getting heavily on my nerves. when they're so busy with the pomp and circumstance around the draft they're too busy to DO the draft it pisses me off. they can be several picks behind and all they give a flying **** about is photo opportunities and getting as many people on stage as possible.

the actual draft itself - kinda takes a backseat to all the LOOK AT ME HERE I AM crap.

i was watching nfln reair the previous several drafts and thinking the same thing. this photo op thing and #17 is on the clock but the commish is announcing like 2 picks behind is ********. i was against moving the draft to thursday and friday and i was wrong about that but they have made it more into a show for the casual fan which is smart for them but aggravating as hell for someone who used to look forward to all day saturday and sunday when most couldn't care less.

and that does make the later days much harder to watch for me. i want to hear about the players the analysis, the fit, the good and the bad. but all that "football" stuff has gotten buried in the show. what used to be fun is now more of an S&M kinda thing except w/o the enjoyment.

The Eagles have been all over Wentz. Even had a last supper together.

Their faith has saved them.

Is it getting hot in here or is it me?

If he becomes the Eagles savior, you might need to watch some more film just to see if you can find a close up shot of his scalp.

the irony of your (deliberate) choice of words - the similarities are that they both had bad situations - but, one ended up saving the world, the other went to the eagles///I personally don't think Wentz is worthy of a top 1 or 2 pick...he is there because of the hype surrounding QBs in the draft...(he is good, just not 1/2 good)...I am VERY happy that QB's are going 1-2 (presumably) as it opens up the true options for Dallas with either (or both) Tunsil and Ramsey being there

Well I would imagine it would be worth the discussion here based on this article no? I mean if it wasn't Wentz (it probably is) who else would it before? and what team would they think they need to jump?

Don't care if there are a 1000 threads on Zeke, he would be the only other player it would make sense about.

It would not make sense.

It would be wild! But we've seen it before in drafts. Claiborne like Ramsey, was all world. Then he fell to 6 and we swooped in. He was suppose to go top 3. That would be great!

Claiborne was not all world. Ramsey is a much better athlete and will most likely end up as a safety. Claiborne was nothing more than a 2nd or 3rd round talent.

Dude, I am on the edge of the edge. I'm reading don't kill yourself books. Take your CB sickness elsewhere.
