They had him on the roster and thsi happened years ago. They knew and kept him around.
An accusation versus an indictment are two completely different circumstances and he wasn’t indicted until recently. If he is found guilty throw him in jail for the maximum amount of time. At the same time you can’t automatically assume the guy is guilty. Like I stated earlier I believe the Eagles cut him loose today now that they know there is sufficient evidence to file an indictment.

Appears the incident happened in 2019 while Sills was at West Virginia.
He transferred to Oklahoma State the following year and made 1st team Big 12 his junior and senior seasons.
But Sills went undrafted last spring...that suggests NFL teams had done their intel on him and knew the allegation was out there and was ongoing.
Yeah, the Eagles took a an UDFA flyer on him - thinking the investigation would not end up in an indictment - but they hedged their bets ....Sills being inactive for all but one regular season game, and did not play in the two postseason games.

Rape and kidnapping from 2019? Wow, pretty odd such a serious pair of offenses would take so long to be reported.
Sometimes, cases can take a while with the investigations. Sounds like a conclusion was reached after the investigation.
