I'm guessing he is retiring with an active Eagles contract........meaning he can not sign with another team w/o their blessing.Huge loss, one of the best

Welcome to our world. Although the Eagles are making a good run at outdoing Jerry for once.No he’s not. The Eagles are offering that as spin but it was reported he had run coordination taken way from him in-season and the new OC wants to bring in his guys. He didn’t mention retiring just his time with the Eagles was over,
Absolute shitshow of an offseason.
I haven’t seen that reported anywhere and I follow the team pretty closely.True but a couple of nuggets suggested HE was the reason they had trouble attracting OC candidates. It is why Sarrinni (ms) offered full offensive control to a couple of candidates.
But you are right.....he is one of the best O-line coaches in the league. Right there with Bill Callahan.....
Trust me that thought crossed my mind, I think JJ scored with Christian Parker, definitely having a better offseason than the Eagles.Welcome to our world. Although the Eagles are making a good run at outdoing Jerry for once.
Yeah offensive line is as banged up. I just don’t get doing what they did to such a decorated coach. I believe it was for a reason I just can’t imagine what it was.No. And the worst part, the run designs weren’t the issue, the play sequencing and lack of coordination between run and pass were the issue. That’s on the OC.
Injuries certainly didn’t help but he didn’t forget how to teach o-line play in a year.
Yeah I’ve seen people suggest potentially the coaching dynamic of Sirianni and his role with the team but I don’t think I’ve read or heard anything about the OL coach except about him losing his duties.I haven’t seen that reported anywhere and I follow the team pretty closely.
Hurts and Sirianni are a bigger hindrance to attracting OC’s than Stout.
That team needs more creativity. They were outclassed by teams like the Bears, Seahawks, and others. Even the decimated 49ers beat them fairly easily in an important game. It’s been very weird did they ever explain why they took his job from him last year?
Jordan Mailata has never been a pro bowlerIf he had anything to do with turning Jordan Mailata into a Pro Bowler, it’s worth a look.

Is this on par with what you are also hearing?Jordan Mailata has never been a pro bowler
He is an All-Pro though

Ahh, well, I guess that would make sense. No he’s not. The Eagles are offering that as spin but it was reported he had run coordination taken way from him in-season and the new OC wants to bring in his guys. He didn’t mention retiring just his time with the Eagles was over,

I want someone to teach our tackles to line up two yards deep and false start every passing attempt but only get called once every other game.I guess he doesn't want to teach the tush push anymore.
Saquon fell off a cliff last year is my guessIt’s been very weird did they ever explain why they took his job from him last year?
Like Dak and the Cowboys, the eagles were stupid enough to give him a no trade clause.I can see this being Sirianni's last year. Anybody who watched their offense this year was pretty much relieved when they got knocked out of the playoffs. It was THAT unwatchable.
To their credit, they don't let problems fester. They jettisoned their Super Bowl-winning coach Doug Peterson when it became apparent he'd sorta lost the team.
I now also wouldn't be surprised if Fangio leaves. Looking like it's time for a reset. I also wouldn't be completely shocked if they assessed Hurts' trade value, and he indeed has some, and perhaps even pulled the trigger.
Fangio is just flat out considering retiring. Stoutland, about to turn 64 next week, has not indicated he does not want to still coach. Watch the Jets. He’s closely aligned with Reich.I can see this being Sirianni's last year. Anybody who watched their offense this year was pretty much relieved when they got knocked out of the playoffs.
