Eagles losing their OL Coach

Time to “pay the piper”. The Eagles now reap what they sowed. The trick is how long will it take to compete for a Super Bowl again. The LA Rams dipped and came back up quickly.
I think their window is closed.......I could see them making one more run at it before we see significant changes. Some insiders are privately saying Hurts is holding the offense back with his limitations ( lack of accuracy, confidence and leadership). He's safe for now, but don't be surprised to see them draft a QB witha high pick this year ( see Carson Wentz 2.0 )

Unfortunately, no. The Dallas Cowboys will remain a clown show. Right when Philly slips back idiot GM Jerry will be scratching his *** while some other team moves ahead of him.

Cowboys fans will be left to express glee over guys from other teams not getting into the Hall of Fame.
They don't look like a clown show to me. The new coaches coming in look good. They have money to spend and 2 first round picks.

No. And the worst part, the run designs weren’t the issue, the play sequencing and lack of coordination between run and pass were the issue. That’s on the OC.
Injuries certainly didn’t help but he didn’t forget how to teach o-line play in a year.
Injuries to me where the story of the OL play. Johnsons and Dickerson really hurt. Dickerson only missed a couple games, but he was definitely hampered all year. For a run intensive team, those are big parts of the engine you didn't have

1. They lost Becton to free agency and replaced him with Steen who sucks.
2. Lane Johnson missed the last 8 games
3. Jurgens and Dickerson dealt with nagging injuries all year
4. The OC changed their run scheme..... which is probably why Stoutland just resigned.

Couldn't happen to a nicer franchise lol

Fangio returning to Iggles:

https://www.inquirer.com/eagles/defensive-coordinator-vic-fangio-will-return-2026-20260204.html

"After a few weeks of uncertainty, the Eagles can rest easy knowing that Vic Fangio isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

The 67-year-old defensive coordinator will return for his third season at the helm of the Eagles defense, NFL sources told The Inquirer. The final decision came after Fangio had contemplated retirement for the last few weeks, since before the end of the season.

PHLY reported on Feb. 2 that the organization “expected” Fangio back and the decision is now definitive."

Fangio is coming back but there are a lot of missing components. The main one is Parker. Then it looks like we are about to hire their linebacker assistant Ronell Williams to be our linebacker coach. Nothing official. It's just floating around. Philly fans are in full on freaking out mode.

Fans claiming to know anything about coaches is nonsense. No fans, from any team, can assess the likelihood of a new head coach’s chance of success let alone new coordinators and assistants they previously never heard of. Typical off season wishful thinking.

Fans of good teams think every change is bad. Fans of bad teams (Cowboys) think every change is good. No way of knowing until the season is well underway.

People in the league know about the coaches.

He doesn't like cleaning up the eggs and watching videos of them attacking visitors.
If he likes making money without needing to perform while working for a moron, he can come to the Cowboys

Amazing the difference a year makes.
Really feels like the wheels are coming off up there.
Sounds like Stoutland was miffed about losing the run coordinator title, which, given their performance in the run game last season shouldn't have been a huge surprise. I mean 4 Pro Bowlers on that OLine and a PB RB (and a ton of cap space) and they couldn't run the ball at all.
I wonder if Lane will retire now? He's been with Stout since the beginning, plus it seems his body is starting to break down.

I saw the expected return in an AJ Brown trade was a 3rd and a 5th, well below what some were expecting. I think they hoped they could get a first to just replace AJ and that's not happening.

With the coaching and QB drama, it really seems like they have major issues, and all the dead cap on the horizon is coming to bite them in the XXX.

Probably worth it for the run they had (and SB), but I think most expected the run would last longer than it apparently has.
