Eagles placed DE Jevon Kearse on injured reserve with a knee injury, ending his season.

Kearse has certainly helped the Eagles, but the monster contract he was awarded in 2004 has to be seen as a disappointment thus far. His salary spikes up next year and it's possible Philadelphia will try to renegotiate.

And to think, he would not have gotten injured at all had the Squeagles not had a melt-down, collapsed and blown a 24-7 lead in the 4th qtr.
