And FWIW, I think that player is referencing a Murray slide from last week against Miami.............. not yesterday.
Murray went out of bounds or dropped when he needed to. He certainly took the "business decision" approach at times.
But you not understanding why people say he's a tough runner makes me think you're blocking out all the tough runs he had in his career here.
As for his play in Philly, from the times I've watched him, just haven't seen the passion he had when he was here.
Now the morons are talking about Sean Payton as the next Messiah.
I do not want to see Peyton in philly. Please give chippy more time jeffrie
27:54 is the play where he slid.
Strange really.
I want to give Murray some respect for setting cowboys rushing record and never wanting to come out of games. He may not be perfect like we want him to be, but he earned my respect for last year as a cowboys
Being a loser team, and franchise, like the Eagles are that will lead to these kinds of things.
Every single day I assure you that Murray wishes he'd simply stayed in Dallas and hadn't followed the extra money. I do not feel sorry for him in the least.
When he pays his taxes in April and figures in the increase in cost of living in the northeast that money figure is going to become a more insignificant
He's a fraud who took the money and ran...to a division opponent. He deserves what he's got.
Murray had exactly one rush last year that went for -7 yards or worse. It was a 14-yard loss, and it happened against Chicago when we already had a 35-13 lead (and he ran for 40 yards on the previous play).I always felt this way about Murray... I never understood why people categorized him as this "tough runner", when in reality, he almost always chose to go out of bounds rather than trying to cut it back in and gain valuable extra yardage... He also had a tendency to take a play that was going to lose a yard or two, and turn it into a drive killing loss of 7 or 8 yards... Then add in the fact that he lost 6 fumbles last season, including one that really hurt in the playoff loss, and I don't see how anybody can argue that he was really worth big time money...
Wow, unbelievable to do what is good for him and his family. I have problems with what Jay Ratlif did, but I am OK with Murray giving 100% when he was here

He had another rush for -6 yards in the first Philadelphia game. We were already out of it and it was a 4th down play.
Last year, I remember all these complaints about Murray looking for contact instead of running where there looked to be open field. The revisionist history is strong here.
Yeah, it wasn't last season, maybe it was the season before that, but there was one play I remember where it was a close game, we were getting close to scoring, and Murray turned a small loss into a big one... I remember Romo bailed us out on a long 3rd and goal, but it just illustrated to me that Murray is not a smart player... And I've seen him do the same thing multiple times this season with the Eagles... Murray is not a special RB, the Cowboys did the right thing letting him walk...
If he takes a college job in Feb or March, he won't get any last minute recruits. Signing Day is Feb 3rd.
The floating rumor is that Chip is headed to Texas, and Charlie Strong is headed to Miami.
