Show me a receiver in the NFL who doesn't get up after every inc. pass that falls near them without giving the flag pull signal or holding signal...I'm starting to think it's coached.

I guess my point is that people are acting like this mouthing off is bulletin board material and works in our favor. But in fact, our OL has not been very good against their front seven, even when we won. Romo carved them up in December last year and this year, the defense completely manhandled their O.

The OL has to wake the *** up against the team IMO if they want a win Sunday night.

It's fun to talk about, but at the end of the day talk is just talk. Doesn't really work in anyone's favor. The season is on the line for both teams really. If Philadelphia loses they are pretty much done unless Dallas falters down the stretch with Romo coming back soon. If we lose we have to hope that Romo can win out.

I think the line has started to look more and more like last year. They were banged up early in the season, Romo went down, you had Weeden who refused to throw the ball down field. They've gotten healthy. Collins gave them a big upgrade over Leary. Dez is back in the fold and prevent teams from trying to really key in on the run. They have the power advantage on the Eagles. No doubt about that. The Eagles obviously are quicker. Key is gonna be getting off the ball, getting their hands on them, securing blocks, and getting down hill. That's how we win.

With the QBs about equal, the matchup of our OL v. their DL and their OL v. our DL is in our favor. Our OL and their DL is the strength of each team. But that PHI OL is not what it used to be (and, no, don't give me any PFF nonsense). With Peters hobbled at LT, that's another significant hit they take now that Hardy and Gregory are in the lineup. Add in their weak CB play, and we ought to have an advantage, overall. That's assuming they don't beat us with their running game.

I'm really looking forward to this one. Wish it wasn't a Sun night game.

Do people not realize that in the last two games, we've averaged less than 3 yards per carry?

And now with Cassel........... if Sunday night, we can't muster a competent rushing attack, we are cooked.

You're crediting him for his backing up his talk but ignoring the fact that his team got handled in both subsequent matchups. Whatever happens on Sunday without Romo won't change that.
