Eagles prepare Westbrook `package'

All-purpose running back Brian Westbrook went through a full practice with Philadlephia on Wedneday and is expected to play against the Cowboys on Sunday.

This will mark the first time that Westbrook has played in consecutive games since Oct. 18-26. Before Sunday's win against Denver, Westbrook had missed seven of the previous eight games because of concussions. That included the Eagles loss to the Cowboys in November.

Philadelphia coach Andy Reid was noncomittal on how much Westbrook will play against the Cowboys but said ``we'll have a nice little package'' for him.

Reserve quarterback Michael Vick was the only Eagle to miss practice on Wednesday. Vick has accounted for only 181 yards of total offense in his return to the NFL after missing two seasons because of legal problems related to dog-fighting.

Reid and McNabb act so smug and cocky this time of year. What is this crap, "we'll have a nice little package.'' I want the Cowboys to crush them Sunday, then eliminate them in the Divisional Round.

No, we need to counter with a nice little slobber-knocking package for Westbrook and Mcnabb.

that too
I just want the coaches to let Felix take over a game

for once, I want to see Felix be the focal point on the ground, instead of Barber, and make plays in the passing game

I want most of the offense going through him, as well as through Austin

I'm Not sure where this thread is goingor what's the point. Just for a minute, let's take the Eagles-Cowboys element out of the equation ...

One team is too cocky because they've made it successfully to this level during this time of the year. While the opponent team that has had a similar level of success doesn't like that becoause it exudes too much confidence.

One team because suspicious because an opponent team is preparing strategy to win (of all things). The other team suggests that they should prepare something to counter (of all things) the opponent team's plans to win.

One team fans wants their team to win, while the opponent team fans wants their team to win.

This is too elementary. We could go back and forth with these two teams, but at the end of the day, it's going to boil down to which team executes, makes fewer mistakes and minimizes their penalty ratio. Even still, the best team doesn't always win.

One team will find a way to win.

Go Eagles!
