One won last year, the other won 23 years ago (cough, cough..with Jimmy Johnson's roster).
Yeah, that's the same.
Roseman is a cool story as a guy who worked his way up from ball boy to GM and "sorta" led the eagles to a title.
But the team hired Baltimore's scouting head to overhaul the entire scouting dept and really run the drafts and Roseman mostly played Madden by signing and trading for vets as fast as he could ignoring future ramifications.
Ignoring that Chip Kelly had done the same thing and saw 1 year success lead to falling off a cliff.
It worked out and he will be appreciated in Philly forever, or until they fail to win a title this year. Whichever comes first.
But make zero mistake Roseman isn't even a cockroach in the NFL lexicon as compared to Jerry Jones.
Jerry hired Jimmy. Any 'but Jimmy' stuff is stupid. Jimmy was a collegiate coach who was FORCED to draft Aikman and already had Irvin on the roster.
The Jimmy players thing is tired and weak as water.
He was a heck of a defensive football talent evaluator.
He was a better coach and motivator.
But his success is related 100% to Jerry giving him a job, forcing him to draft Aikman and Jerry not wanting to pay Herschel Walker QB money.
Jimmy had 4 years as head honcho in Miami and that team stagnated. 8-8, 9-7, 10-6, 9-7.
He never won more than 1 playoff game in a season and lost his last game versus Dallas 20-0.
He lost his last ever game 62-7.
