Early games thread

Clutch Eli threw the pick when it mattered most . . . . . . . it must be the big tv audience that puts the pressure on him

Dumb throw by Eli. Reminded me of the types of INTs he had a habit of throwing 2 years ago.

If it wasn't for those pesky super bowls, I swear Eli would be my favorite player in the league.

If other teams are gonna keep on losing, we're gonna need some help in the strength of schedule category. We could drop all the way back to the 7th pick if the other 4-win teams continue to lose. Of the 3-win team -- Titans, Chargers, Browns -- the Titans are about to lose to the Patriots, the Browns play the Seahawks soon, and the Chargers play the Dolphins. Only team that might win in the Chargers and they'd still probably have a worse strength of schedule so we still wouldn't jump them. Of the 4-loss teams -- Ravens, Lions, 49ers -- the Ravens are about to lose to the Chiefs, the 49ers play the Bengals, and the Lions play the Saints. Let's see if the Bengals implode without Dalton. I doubt it though. Only awful teams go 1-9 without their starting QB. We'd probably lose the strength of schedule tiebreaker to all these teams so we very well could still be sitting at #7 at the end of the day.

BOOM

Can we end this idea that somehow the Giants have a shot now?

Will Eli Manning get ripped for a bad decision?

Nah. No way.

Jacksonvilles cheerleaders!

man weedon is playing like a real qb today for the Texans today. what does that say about our offense if weedon can look half way decent and looked totally lost in dallas.

I've noticed this pattern with Weededn.

When he's rushed into a game due to an injury he generally performs well. However the following week(s) when a team has a full week to prepare for him is when he performs poorly.
