That means we're favored to beat the Giants by 8 points

You can either bet that Dallas will win and cover, or that New York will cover. If you bet that New York will cover and Dallas wins by 5, you still win because the Giants lost by less than 8.

You can also beat based on the point spead, which hasnt been announced yet I don't think
