all i can say is that is foolish on their part.
If I have a perfect driving record for 3 years and have a small accident at a redlight, that doesnt mean all the sudden that i cant drive.
Peyton manning has multiple games under 150 passing yards...does that mean he cant QB?
Using 1 sample out of 75 samples to completely change the conclusion is foolish. Statistics will tell you that 1 sample is an outlier and should be disregarded.
I think NFL teams are valuing different criteria than most of us fans. They are looking at level of competition.... Manziel played and played well against Alabama, LSU , Auburn, and Missouri with LSU being the only bad loss. I believe he got hurt and knocked out of that game???? As for the rest he lost by a total of 18 points against the mighty Alabama, Auburn, and Mizzu. This is all compared to Louisvilles schedule who's toughest competition was University of Central Florida... really??? And in this he lost against Bortles who is his competition in this draft class. I watched that game and that Bortles looked much better even tho the score was fairly close.
When teams saw Bridgewaters proday, he reinforced the opinion on him that his accuracy is suspect, doesn't have good velocity, and is small in stature. When they saw Manziel they saw that he actually has as strong an arm as all but a few, great accuracy, and not scared of the brightlights... he put on a passing clinic. Manziels proday showed that you can believe your eyes when you watch him play. Bridgewaters pro-day showed you can believe your eyes as well just not believe his win record against really bad competition.
