Legendary guitarist Eddie Van Halen, who passed away in October at the age of 65 from lung cancer, was an avid car collector who owned a Lamborghini Miura, a Porsche 911 GT3 RS, and two Audi R8s, a V-8 and a V-10.

He also owned this custom, six-speed manual 2000 550 Ferrari, with racing seats, a roll cage, and custom wheels, is up for auction starting November 25 with a $200,000 reserve. The car has 28,000 miles on the odometer. Van Halen used the V-12–powered Ferrari to race alongside his brother, Alex Van Halen, who was the drummer of the band Van Halen.

Way out of the normal Joes price range but a 0-60 time of 4 secs and a 1/4 time of just over 12 secs is pretty darn good.

12 seconds seems pretty slow. I mean not Pinto slow but for the price give me a 1972 Chevelle and that kind of money and we'll be running in the low 10's. And still have some cash to spend.

12 secs is still a respectable time but i get what your saying, a V12 that puts out almost 500 HP i would have expected a little better. For that kinda money i would have gotten an old GTO or Firebird and had them restored.
