he's not a top 5 receiver: great goal line threat, average in between the 20's.
Lol. You're the same guy who said Terrance freakin Williams is better than Dez. You have no credibility in anything you say about him because you have some weird hatred toward Dez.
Besides, how's you boy TWill looking so far this year?
All you to do is watch the games. Lee is one of the best linebackers in the league. No he hasn't been healthy, but i don't think you can hold it against him. There's plenty of instances where players are considered great and were injury prone. Not just in football, but in other sports.
What do you think his beef with Dez is?
He could be that he just forgot about Dez due to injury. This was a Reddit AMA anyhow -- people are firing questions left and right and he is answering them.
Yes, I know Nelson is injured also, however, you have to wonder if guys like Edelman look up to Nelson a bit and therefore Nelson is top of mind. Let's be honest here, Nelson is the least "possession-like" white WR the league has seen in 20-30 years.
Guys, you are getting into a very semantical argument here around the word 'elite', a word which consumes thousands of pages of NFL forum space each year.
My take is this.... it is <possible> for a player to be elite after 1 year because their talent shines so fricking brightly you couldn't help but stare. It's exceedingly rare. I maybe have 3-4 examples of the top my head:
1998 - Moss
1989 - Barry Sanders
1984 - Dickerson
1981 - LT
You have already stated there is a lack of evidence. So, everything you are now saying, it's completely and utterly pointless.
OBJ is NOT a better player than Bryant, Green, Johnson, and Brown until he PROVES IT. Key word: Proves. One year DOES NOT prove anything. Are we finished now?

i wonder who good edleman would be without pick plays, and the GOAT as his QB?
And? The fact that he left Dez off and put Odell and Steve Smith above him is absurd.
I would have said he had a great season. But better than other established WRs? No. You have to consistently establish yourself to be a top 5 WR.
I'll be honest, I think that is absolutely a purposeful slight from Edelman. That guy has one of the biggest mouths and most arrogant attitudes in sports.
OBJ is like Miles Austin
Edelman is a punk who deserves to have his face bashed in, just like Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski. The only one of those 3 that is even a real man and would have a chance in a fight against an average dude would be Gronkowski.
