on the phone when they called him to tell him that he was their next pick that "he had been a Cowboys fan his whole life." What a dream come true for this young man. He sounded so genuinly sincere and excited over the phone. He told BP that he'd work really, really hard and do anything they asked of him.I for one am pulling for him to stick.

Stanley is a riot. When The Ticket had the Cowboys scout on the show on Sunday who spotted/followed Stanley, the scout's first question to them was did they get a chance to ask any questions. Stanley is a very vocal and happy person who loves to talk and talk and talk; one of the guys on the ticket said they thought Cowboys had drafted Nate Newton again. Anyway, Stanley's going to be a great addition to the lockerroom. He'll keep them in stitches with his comments, etc. He's a very enthusiastic young man who loves to play NT so his LBs & DEs can make lots of sacks/tackles. Elvil Dumberville (the kid Marcus Vick stomped on ?) put up some pretty good numbers playing next to Stanley.

I think he has a very good chance of sticking if for no other reason than he can play any of the 5 different positions. As we all know Parcells loves nothing more than versatility in ALL of his players.

that had to have been one of the happiest days in his life on Sunday when he was drafted by the Boys. I'll be rooting for him just like all of our draft picks and hopefully he ends up helping us a lot

me, I don't care who they root for. I'd rather have a talent lifelong skins fan than a loser cowboy fan.

I think Whitley's versatility is going to help him. Sometimes people forget that some of these players can spend a year on the practice team and eventually become helpers for your team. If I'm not mistake, Marco Rivera was one of those guys, wasn't he?
