And I do see Safety as a gaping hole along with CB. Disagree? Fine, then we'll disagree, but you can't expect a secondary to get better with only mediocre/below average players back there. Every aspect of the defense needs to improve, from the defensive line on back. The Sensy-Elam connection does not provide serious impact; the Cowboys need a true playmaker at one of the Safety spots. If the best player on the board happens to be a Safety when Dallas picks, then I say take him.
Go review the top three guys at either SS or FS in the upcoming draft...
There aren't any that are considered good vs the pass. All of them are stronger vs the run except for the possibility of Robert Lester from Alabama who's 6-2, 210lbs, but runs in the 4.55 range, which isn't optimum and with that long frame probably isn't going to be quick enough to cover wide receivers man-to-man like Darren Woodson could.
