Nice for Rod to have players fit his scheme.
"We are not going to get any better on defense if we just keep paying the guys we got."Said it before and I'll say it again. Allowing the secondary FA's to move on instantly made the secondary better.
I'm sure not having to worry about Beckham potentially breaking a big gain played a large part in that decision too.

that's a pretty sad fact considering they were starting caliber for us Too,,, wonder how that greener grass is panning out for them after week#1Said it before and I'll say it again. Allowing the secondary FA's to move on instantly made the secondary better.

I liked the lumber JJ Wilcox could unloadYeap. I was absolutely ecstatic that they let those guys go.
Idk ? But that wouldn't surprise me if they all started balling as if their football careers depended on it.Didn't Carr have a pick today?

Right! The Ravens, man they got 11 projected starters out for the year before the season even started and they whupped up big time todayI think he did, lol I think every member of the Ravens D had a pick today
The key was the LB drops. Both Lee and Jaylon. Got great depth to disrupt slants and posts. Made Eli reset his throws which led to sacks and pressured throws that were off target. Jaylon on the Brown pick was rt there as a MLB to blow Shepperd up had he in fact caught it... that was a good 10 plus yds down field. All this and he's still not 100%. This D could be scary by mid season when reinforcements are all back and acclimated. Can't wait to see Jordan Lewis out there and an even more explosive Jaylon.
