Ellis situation is a huge endorsement of Anthony Spencer

We do need Spencer to bring it this year and take over. Ellis is getting up in years and we cannot continue to put pressure on Ellis to perform.

It is put up of shut up time for Spencer.

you can never have enough pass rushing threats. just ask the giants

the year they won the super bowl tuck wad their 3rd rusher behind the likes of osi and strahan.

it pays dividends to be be able to rotate multiple guys in and keep youre lb fresh. especially in late gm situations when opposing offensive lines are wearing down.

thats what has made the giants so effective and the reason why this off season they continued to already add to a loaded pass rush

i would have loved to seen ware,spencer and ellis all get a good number of snaps this season. ahh well looks like were phasing ellis out though

That's playing scared and you won't get anywhere doing that. The better teams in the league wouldn't be attached to a player like Greg Ellis' hip.

I'm pretty much in agreement with you on a personal note, But unfortunately the way we portray players is not always the right choice in our assessments.

The trainers and coaching staff will be more apt to make those type decisions, but we all know who it comes down to in the end. Jerruh.

I would love to rid the team of a whining Greg Ellis, his pass rushing skills have diminished, and we could save the money for bigger and better things, like giving the best OLB the money he so deserves. Damarcus would agree I'm sure .
