Why not trade Ellis to Oakland who could use a DE, and a 2nd, 5th round picks

I heard that Moss wanted out or was unhappy. But I think he was unhappy with Norv and with a new HC coming in he will be fine. Ecspecially if it is Martz.

Who will play less and less as Canty/Spears improve? I would take Randy in a second. His contract is less trouble some than TO might be if he signs and Randy is younger. Spend the rest of the offseason rebuilding our line and we have some huge weapons on O.

Talent alone does not win in this league you need discpline; heart and smarts which Moss does not have in his body. Dumb arse TO would be a safer grab he may be a freakin flake and a cancer but at least he plays hard and puts out on the field every play. Moss is a cancer and is lazy

Yup 5 years - I thought it was 3 till I checked.

The Raiders got him for Napolean Harris, the 7th overall pick and a 7th round pick - no way they would trade for Ellis a 2nd, 5th round picks.

I think a lot of Moss's problems are with Norv Turner - if he goes Moss will be happy.

Ellis is a solid 4-3 DE with a good contract. Moss is an excellent but quite moody and expensive WR. No way I'd trade Ellis plus picks for Moss.

Straight up sure with us in a 3-4.

Moss to me is the league's ultimate number 2 WR. He's like a great version of Alvin Harper. He runs like 3 routes decently and take plays off but lives to make big plays. Moss would be a good fit beside Keyshawn if they didn't get into talking contests.

I would love to see Randy, especially when compared to TO, in a Cowboys uniform. A legite deep threat who can make a play.

Maybe I'm dumb but it seems like he has matured since first coming into the league, and he is still a top 3 receiver regardless of this year. If i was Oakland he would be getting the ball 50 times a game...

Him and a possession guy like Key, glenn, crayton, and witten....thats just too many weapons if we get an O-line, and we know drew can get the ball to him
