how is Nick Saban doing down in Miami ;)

Mike Nolan out in SF ;)

etc.

A couple days removed from another ugly loss and deplorable performance from our "veteran QB", I hope some of you give some thought to the old adage "the grass is always greener..."

Sean Payton in Nawlins?

Scott Linehan in St. Lou?

It all reflects around the talent on a particular team as to how the head coach if precieved.

Billiceck sp? at Cleveland got fired.......now he is great--right?

I disagree. I don't see as much talent in St. Lou, Nawlins, or on the Jets as we have. Yet they are winning.

I have typically defended Parcells, and I still think that many fans unfairly present themselves as being smarter than Parcells in making football decisions. Things generally aren't nearly as black and white as fans (and posters) tend to make them, and Parcells years of experience and success justify giving him the benefit of the doubt.

However, I have to admit that I am starting to think that Parcells can only take us so far - that he has us headed in the right direction but may not be able to finish the job. If nothing else the expectation that he wont be around next year, or certainly in 2008 anyway, may prevent that, but I'm not sure he has all the peices in place he thinks he does (or fans/posters seem to think), and I think he has to adjust a little to compensate.
